Joaquim Morgado

Joaquim Morgado is a seasoned Senior Project Manager at Companhia de Electricidade de Macau, CEM - SA, with extensive experience in power systems, particularly in SCADA systems, automation of LV/HV substations, AMM/AMI systems, and SmartGrids since March 1990. Prior to this role, Joaquim worked as a Project Engineer at EDP - Energias de Portugal, focusing on HV substations and various automation systems from March 1985 to March 1990. Joaquim's career began as an Assistant Teacher at Universidade dos Açores, where research involved telemetry networks and systems from April 1983 to March 1985, and as an Engineering Student and Engineer at CAPS, contributing to development systems based on micro processors from June 1980 to March 1983. Joaquim holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, completed in 1981.
