Athanasios Stergiou is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and IT change management, currently serving as the Head of IT Software Engineering at Cembra Money Bank AG since December 2016. In this role, Athanasios has successfully designed and managed IT Change Management and Release Management processes, leading the prioritization of incoming demands and overseeing production releases. Prior to this, Athanasios spent a decade at Eurobank, enhancing CRM information systems and managing a significant team to deliver IT services across multiple countries. Athanasios' career began at Intracom Telecom SA, where responsibilities included system design and software development for telecommunications projects. Athanasios holds a Master of Science in Management Science & Information Systems from Cranfield School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of Patras, Greece.
