Matthias Jetzer

Matthias Jetzer currently serves as the Group Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Information Security & Data Governance at Cembra Money Bank AG, a position held since October 2013. In these roles, Matthias oversees critical areas such as Cyber Risk Management, Data Protection, Data Privacy, and Client Data Confidentiality, ensuring the security of one of the organization's most valuable assets. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer at GE from December 2003 to October 2013 and holding the position of Information Security Officer at Axpo Group in 2002-2003, along with experience as a System Engineer. Matthias' educational background includes a Diploma of Education in Cybersecurity from Harvard University (2023), ITIL Foundation, CISSP, and various certifications in security and risk management, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Information Security from Fachhochschule Zentralschweiz.
