Patrick Fontana

Patrick Fontana has a diverse work experience spanning various research institutions and organizations. Patrick currently holds the position of Head of Product Technology at CEMEX Deutschland AG since February of 2021. Previously, from 2017 to 2020, they worked at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, where they served as Head of Unit from January 2020 to November 2020 and as a Research Group Manager from July 2017 to January 2020. Prior to that, Fontana held the role of Senior Scientist and Head of Group at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung from an unknown start date until June 2017. Patrick also worked as a Researcher at the same organization from 2002 to 2012. In 2009, Fontana served as a Visiting Researcher at Empa. Patrick'searliest documented work experience was as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin in 2002.
