Matthew Bland Afni

Matthew Bland AFNI has extensive experience in maritime operations and management, currently serving as Fleet Development Manager at CEMEX UK since June 2016, where responsibilities include health and safety, audits, mentoring, and fleet management. As a director at Ramcode Ltd since August 2012, Matthew also held various maritime leadership roles, including Master and Chief Mate across CEMEX Marine and Faversham Ships, overseeing operations in UK and European waters. Previous positions include Chief Mate/Skipper for Griffin Towage & Marine and teaching seamanship as an instructor at the British Offshore Sailing School. Matthew holds an MSc in Sustainable Maritime Operations from MLA College/University of Plymouth and has a solid educational background in Nautical Science and Environmental Design.
