Enrico Abbati

Enrico Abbati is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the building materials industry. Currently serving as the Director of Performance Materials at CEMEX since September 2021, Enrico oversees the management of the Performance Materials business across multiple regions, including Europe, the USA, Mexico, and South America. Prior to this role, Enrico was the Managing Director at Vetriceramici Srl for a brief period and served as Commercial Director at VETRICERAMICI - FERRO S.P.A. from October 2019 to February 2021. Enrico's long tenure at Kerakoll Group from August 1998 to October 2019 included positions such as International Business Managing Director, where responsibilities involved internationalization efforts, managing multiple production plants, and pursuing strategic partnerships. Enrico began a career in the industry as a Buyer at GRUPPO CONCORDE SPA and holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and additional education from SDA Bocconi.
