Jaime Martinez Merla

Jaime Martinez Merla has held the position of Director of Internal Control at CEMEX since June 2002, overseeing the global implementation and continuous evaluation of internal control systems with a focus on risk management and SOX compliance. Previously, from 1996 to 1999, Jaime served as Manager of Accounting Technology at CEMEX, responsible for cost accounting, information systems, and compliance under the Comptroller Director. Jaime's earlier experience includes working as a Supervising Senior at KPMG from January 1990 to July 1993, participating in audit teams for various companies. Jaime holds a Master of Sciences of Administration in General Management from Stanford University, an MBA and CPA from Universidad de Monterrey, and an additional CPA and MBA from the same institution.
