Diego Balbi

Diego Balbi is currently the Gerente de Engenharia de Segurança de Barragens at Cemig, where they have worked since 2014. In addition to this role, Diego serves as Diretor de Publicações e Relações Institucionais for the Comitê Brasileiro de Barragens since 2020 and as Coordenador do Comitê de Segurança de Barragens at ABRAGE since 2019. Diego holds a Mestrado in Water Resources Engineering and a Mestrado in Recursos Hídricos, Gestão de Emergências, both from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they also completed a Bacharelado in Engenharia Civil. Previously, Diego worked as an Engenheiro de Segurança de Barragens from 2002 to 2014.
