José Luiz Pereira Silva

José Luiz Pereira Silva is an experienced IT Service Manager at CEMIG since February 2001, focusing on the implementation and improvement of IT service management processes. José has expertise in the specification, development, configuration, and maintenance of information technology management systems. Prior to this role, José served as a Systems Operator in Telecommunications and IT, supervising telecommunications networks and managing SDH, PDH, microwave radio, internet, and cable TV services in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte and across Minas Gerais. José began a professional journey with an internship at Cemig/EFAP, gaining valuable experience in computing and data communication. Additionally, from August 2000 to December 2001, José taught electronics at Escola Técnica Municipal de Sete Lagoas, covering subjects such as Digital Electronics and Microprocessors. José holds a degree in IT Governance from PUC Minas (2019-2020), a degree in IT Management from Estácio (2012-2014), and a Technical degree in Electronics from Escola Técnica Municipal de Sete Lagoas (1999-2001).
