Prior to that, from 1998 to 1999, Claes studied Genie Energetique at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. Claes also holds 120 ECTS in Theology from Stockholm School of Theology, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
