Nicholas Drews

Nick Drews is the Interim Health Agency Director of San Luis Obispo County. He oversees the planning, development, and implementation of health services including Health Administration, Public Health, Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services, Animal Services, and the Office of the Public Guardian. The Health Agency has approximately 800 employees and a budget of $150 million.

Mr. Drews has served with the Health Agency in various roles since 2015. He has served as Deputy Director in charge of Administrative Services, as Logistics Chief during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and as Site Manager responsible for building the Cal Poly Alternate Care Site.
