Renato Burga Rivera

Renato Burga Rivera is an accomplished commercial leader with extensive experience in the retail and consumer goods sectors. Currently serving as Gerente Comercial at Cencosud S.A. since March 2022, Renato is responsible for leading and designing the commercial strategy for mass consumption categories in Peruvian supermarkets, reporting directly to the CEO while overseeing five direct reports and 60 collaborators. Prior to this role, Renato held key positions at OXXO Perú, Grupo Rey, and previously at Cencosud S.A., where accomplishments included ensuring sales and profitability objectives across various operations. Renato's educational background includes an MBA from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an Innovation and Value Creation Program at Yale School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Lima.
