Chad Chahbazi

Senior Vice President, Project & Business Development at Cenergy

Chad Chahbazi has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Chad is currently the Vice President of Project Development for Cenergy Power, where they focus on distributed generation projects in the 1-40 MW range. Chad also played a key role in developing and executing over 350 MWs of large-scale solar projects for Cenergy.

Before joining Cenergy, Chad worked as the President of Evergreen Law Center, providing corporate and business legal services. Chad also served as a Corporate Attorney at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP and a Corporate/Litigation Attorney at Greenberg Traurig.

Chad's legal career began at Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, where they practiced bet-the-company intellectual property litigation before their intellectual property group was acquired by Dechert LLP. Chad started their career as an Intern Analyst at Harvey & Company LLC.

In 2015, Chad also took on the role of Principal at CC Renewables, Inc.

Chad Chahbazi completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles from 1994 to 1998. Chad pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco) from 1999 to 2002.
