Carlos Abel Eslava Carrillo

Carlos Abel Eslava Carrillo currently serves as the Director at Preparatoria Federal Lázaro Cárdenas and has been in this role since February 2013. In addition to directorial responsibilities, Carlos teaches Mathematics IB and coordinates the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the institution. Since July 2013, Carlos has contributed to CENEVAL, A.C. as a developer of statistical exam items, while also engaging with the International Baccalaureate Organization as an examiner and moderator for Mathematics NM. Previously, Carlos held the position of Coordinator of Basic Sciences at CETYS Universidad Tijuana from August 2013 to August 2021, where responsibilities included teaching advanced mathematics and statistics courses. Carlos has also taught mathematics at PrepaTec Campus Eugenio Garza Lagüera and CIDEB. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
