Sung Yang

Sung Yang currently serves as Sr. Director, Platform Technology Strategy & Operations at Cengage Group, a leading global educational publisher, where responsibilities include overseeing strategy and operations for platform technology. Prior roles within Cengage Group include Vice President of Strategy & Transformation and Senior Director of Business Operations. Prior to joining Cengage Group in March 2019, Sung Yang held the position of Case Team Leader at Treacy & Company and worked as an Innovation Platform Initiative Consultant at ThoughtWorks. Additionally, experience includes roles as Group and Catering Revenue Manager and Revenue Analyst at Hilton New York, as well as serving as Battalion Infantry Leader in the Republic of Korea Air Force. Sung Yang holds an MBA in Strategy from Yale School of Management and a degree in Hotel Administration with a focus on Hospitality, Finance, and Real Estate from Cornell University.
