Ricardo Malta has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ricardo started their career in 1992 as a Software Developer at Haitec GmbH, where they provided hotline support and worked on software development projects. In 1993, they became a Freelancer, offering consulting and support services for CATIA and UNIX. In 1996, Ricardo joined CENIT as a Group Leader, where they led system administration for BMW AG and managed a team. Ricardo also worked on various projects, including the migration of CATIA V5 from UNIX to Windows. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Project Manager/Pre-Sales at CENIT, focusing on CAD consulting for Porsche AG and establishing a support team. From 2007 to 2012, Ricardo worked as a Project Manager at CENIT, specializing in business development for virtualization services and handling projects with VMware for insurance and finance institutes. Finally, in 2012, they assumed the role of Information Technology Service Delivery Manager (EMEA) at CENIT, overseeing the CAx-Support services.

Ricardo Malta attended the Technical University of Munich from 1991 to 1993, where they studied Luft und Raumfahrttechnik (Aerospace Engineering). Prior to that, from 1988 to 1989, they studied Bergbau Ingenieurwissenschaft (Mining Engineering) at Escola Politécnica da USP. No degree information was provided for either program.
