Brent Whelan

Brent Whelan, P. Eng., is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer and previously as a Subsea Installation Engineer at Cenovus Energy since June 2017. Prior to this, Brent Whelan gained diverse experience at Husky Energy as part of the Engineer in Training (New Grad Rotational Program), focusing on project management, reservoir engineering, innovation, development, and process reliability from June 2014 to May 2017. Early engineering roles include an Integrity Engineering Coop Student at Husky Energy, a Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Student at Suncor Energy, a Development Team Engineering Student at Husky Energy, and a Gas Management Engineering Student at MEG Energy Corp. Brent Whelan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Process Engineering from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador.
