Emily McIver

Emily McIver, CA, CPA, has extensive experience in tax management, currently serving as Manager of Tax Audit at Cenovus Energy since March 2012, where roles have included Senior Tax Advisor and Tax Specialist in audit and compliance. Prior to Cenovus Energy, Emily held various positions at KPMG in Canada, including Tax Manager and Tax Senior, with a rotation in International Corporate Tax. A short-term secondment to KPMG Mexico as a Tax Manager in the International Tax Group also contributed to Emily's diverse experience. Earlier career roles included Senior Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP and Student/Senior Accountant at BDO Canada. Emily's education includes a BBA in Accounting from the University of Prince Edward Island and several advanced tax courses from CICA and the Tax Executives Institute.
