Joel Ror

Joel Ror is an experienced Instrument and Controls Specialist currently employed at Cenovus Energy since March 2022, focusing on small project commissioning in instrumentation, electrical, and automation. Previously, Joel Ror served as the Control Systems Lead at JLL for the Amazon account, managing maintenance and improvements for the Amazon YYC1 fulfillment center’s automation systems. Earlier roles include Control System Specialist at Stream Services, where Joel Ror provided PLC support and development, and Instrumentation Technician at Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd., contributing to new plant construction and commissioning. Joel Ror also gained experience as a Field Service Engineer at Ametek Process Instruments and as an Instrumentation Technical Trainer at Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd., where training was developed and delivered for technicians and users. Joel Ror holds a degree in Instrumentation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
