Novan Naidoo

Novan Naidoo, P.Eng, holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical) and an MBA. As a Manager of Unit Contact Engineering at Cenovus Energy since May 2020, Novan leads engineering efforts at a crude oil upgrader facility. Prior to this, Novan served as a Facilities Engineer at Husky Energy, focusing on process troubleshooting and project management. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Technical Advisor at Rio Tinto, optimizing plant performance in iron ore concentration, and as an Operations and Maintenance Specialist at SIL Industrial Minerals, ensuring safe plant operations. Novan's earlier career at Rio Tinto included positions as Operations Superintendent and Senior Metallurgist, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement in the mining sector.
