Nathan Kontny

Nathan Kontny is an experienced entrepreneur and engineer, currently serving as the Founder of Tres Cosas, a React Native iOS mobile application focused on personal growth, wellness, relationships, and career goals. As a Founding Engineer at Census, Nathan played a pivotal role in scaling the company from a seed stage startup to a post-Series B entity. Nathan also founded Ninjas and Robots, which developed the Locomotion tool for creating stop-motion movies, and previously established Cityposh, evolving it into the writing software Draft. As the CTO/CMO at Rockstar Coders, Nathan led marketing initiatives while acting as fractional CTO for clients. Serving as CEO at Highrise HQ, Nathan managed the CRM tool development spun out from 37signals/Basecamp. As a founder and CTO for Inkling Inc., Nathan was part of the second Y Combinator cohort, contributing to one of the first enterprise Ruby on Rails applications before the company was acquired. Nathan holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Chemical Engineering and participated in two Y Combinator cohorts.
