Ramona Bendias

Ramona Bendias has been working in the field of AI since 2020. Ramona started as an AI Engineer at Workist and then moved to Kumo.AI in 2022 as an Applied ML Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Bachelor Thesis student at Charit\u00e9, where they applied deep learning architectures on structural 3D magnetic resonance images to predict early Parkinson's disease. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Working Student at the Hasso Plattner Institute, where they implemented new functionalities in the frontend and backend of the Tumor Board Support System. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Seminar Organisation at 'mehr als lernen', where they organized, realized, and moderated workshops on life and career orientation, and taught decision-making, feedback and communication techniques.

Ramona Bendias completed their A-level at Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium Aalen from 2006 to 2014. Ramona then went on to pursue a BSc in Natural Sciences in the Information Society at Technische Universität Berlin from 2015 to 2019. In 2017 and 2018, they attended Lund University without obtaining a degree. Finally, they obtained an MSc in Data Science from both Technische Universität Berlin and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
