Jason Leal

Jason Leal has extensive work experience in finance, business development, and strategy. Jason is currently working as the Vice President of Finance at Centage, a leading provider of modern FP&A software solutions. Prior to this, Jason held the role of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Xenex Disinfection Services, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Jason also managed the customer success team and focused on revenue growth and profitability. Before that, they worked as the Director of Business Development at Valero Energy Corporation, where they led teams in evaluating capital projects and pitched investment proposals to executive committees. Jason has also worked at Bechtel Corporation, where they held various roles, including Director of Strategy, Field Engineer, and Senior Manager of Finance and Development. Jason began their career at Raytheon as an Operations Manager and Mechanical Engineer, leading production readiness and manufacturing operations for military unmanned aerial vehicle programs.

Jason Leal has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington. Jason also holds an MBA degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus on Analytic Finance, Economics, and Statistics. In addition to their formal education, Jason has obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Using Python to Access Web Data" from the University of Michigan, "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from the University of Michigan, and "Python Data Structures" from the University of Michigan.
