Dr. Shamkant Shimpi

Dr. Shamkant Shimpi has over 15 years of industrial and research experience. Dr. Shamkant is currently serving as the Vice President of R&D at Centaur Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Prior to this, they held positions at SAI Life Sciences Ltd as Associate Director and Principal Scientist, AUROBINDO PHARMA LTD as a Research and Development Scientist, Bharati Vidyapeeth as a Sr. Research Fellow, RPG Life Sciences as an R&D Officer, and IPCA as an R&D Officer. Along with their technical expertise, they have managerial responsibilities including planning and meeting timelines, managing a group of scientists, and coordinating with other supporting departments.

Dr. Shamkant Shimpi holds a Ph.D. in Pharamceutics from Bharati Vidyapeeth. Prior to that, they completed an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Dr. Shamkant also holds a B.Pharm in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University, NDMVPS College of Pharmacy Nasik.
