Jim Horne

Jim Horne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and education. Currently serving as a Partner at Strategos Group Public Affairs since January 2013, Jim previously founded The Horne Group from January 2005 to January 2013. Jim's background includes notable positions such as Commissioner of Education for the Florida Department of Education from July 2001 to August 2004 and State Senator for the Florida Senate from November 1994 to July 2001. Additionally, Jim has a solid foundation in accounting as a Certified Public Accountant, having practiced in private firms from February 1985 to July 2001, following a role as Tax Manager at PwC from September 1980 to February 1985. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University.
