Corey Shaw

Corey Shaw is an experienced leader in claims and consumer experience management, currently serving as the Director of Claims Experience at Centene Corporation since September 2022. Shaw has developed a comprehensive strategy to enhance the experiences of members, providers, and employees throughout the claim lifecycle, introducing the Provider Effort Index (PEI) as a new key performance indicator. Prior to this role, Shaw was the Associate Director of Consumer Experience at Author by Humana, directing initiatives for a startup focused on Medicare plans, and held various positions at Humana from June 2003 to August 2022, contributing to claims cost management and operational support. Shaw holds a Bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University, obtained in 2003.
