Dawn Gipson

Dawn Gipson has extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and marketing communications. As a Senior Director at Centene Corporation from September 2019 to October 2024, Dawn advanced enterprise-wide DEI initiatives, achieving an 83% favorable measure of DEI engagement and leading a team that enhanced employee participation in inclusion groups. Prior to Centene, Dawn worked at FleishmanHillard, where as Diversity & Inclusion Champion, collaboration with senior leaders led to a 10% increase in employee engagement scores, and as Senior Vice President, a significant advertising campaign strategy resulted in increased lead generation. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MFA in Graphic Communications from the University of Illinois Chicago.
