Marisol Urquizo

Marisol Urquizo is a dedicated public health professional focused on achieving health equity for all individuals, particularly those in underserved communities. Currently serving as a Senior Health Equity Specialist at Centene Corporation, Marisol has a history of impactful roles, including managing community health initiatives for the American Cancer Society and leading COVID-19 engagement efforts at the Illinois Department of Public Health. With a Master's degree in Public Health from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from California State University, Fresno, Marisol has developed numerous community-wide interventions that empower marginalized populations through education and support.
