Sergio Barreto

Sergio Barreto has an extensive background in retail operations and sales management, primarily in the luggage industry. Sergio started their career at Bentley's Luggage where they held various roles including sales associate, assistant manager, store manager, area supervisor, and district manager. Sergio then moved on to work as a senior district manager at the El Portal Group of Stores, regional sales manager at Bag'n Baggage and later director of retail operations at Bag'n Baggage. Sergio then served as the vice president of retail operations at Colorado Bag'n Baggage before joining RIMOWA in 2009. At RIMOWA, they held various positions including director of sales for Latin America & the Caribbean, and managing director for Latin America. Sergio'smost recent position is as the chief executive officer at WACO Aircraft Corp where they oversee the manufacturing of 1930's sport biplanes.

Sergio Barreto earned their Bachelor's Degree in Law from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM in the years between 1984 and 1988. Sergio also completed a Retail Management Training Camp called Multiple Store Supervision Camp, Gold Star Selling, at The Friedman Group - Retail Consulting & Training. In 2021, they obtained the E-Commerce Fast Track certification from LVMH.
