John Turner

John Turner is an experienced mining professional with a diverse career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Mining Advisor and holding multiple executive roles at Centennial since December 2019, John has a robust background in mining safety and operations management. Prior to his tenure at Centennial, John held various mine manager positions for different collieries and was involved in mines rescue operations since 1991, earning notable commendations for service. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from UNSW, a Certificate in Emergency Response and Rescue from TAFE NSW, and a recent Professional Certificate in ESG and Social Responsibility from AusIMM.
