David Ip Yam

David Ip Yam is the Dean of Students at Centennial College. David has previously served as the Director of Career Education and Development at York University and as a member of the Provincial Advisory Committee on Francophone Affairs for the Government of Ontario. David has also been a member of the Expert Panel on French-Language Postsecondary Education for the Government of Ontario.

David Ip Yam has a PhD in Education from York University, a Master of Education from York University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution from York University. David also has a Hons. B.A. from York University in Political Science and French Studies. David is a Certified Change Intelligence (CQ) Leader from Change Catalysts, LLC and has certification from the Canadian Mental Health Association in CMHA Psychological Health and Safety Champion Training. David also has certification from York University in Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification and from SLC Higher Ed in Higher Education Service Excellence Trainer.

They are on a team with Jin Li - Director, International Recruitment & Project Development, Purnima Tyagi - Director, Wearable Interactive Mobile Technology Access Centre, and Brad Chapman - Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Business Development. David Ip Yam reports to Craig Stephenson, President & CEO.
