Eric Blaise

Director, Applied Research and Innovation at Centennial College

Eric Blaise is the Director of Applied Research and Innovation at Centennial College. Prior to this, they were the founder of Studio Cadence Plus, a specialty gym that offered individual training in a cost effective group setting. Blaise built the company from inception to a steady 30% revenue growth per year with a loyal client base of young urban professionals. Eric was responsible for all aspects of running the business, including strategy, finance, operations, and marketing. During this time, they managed a team of six.

Before Studio Cadence Plus, Blaise worked as a Senior Structural Analyst at Pratt & Whitney Canada and as a Research Assistant at Stanford University.

Eric Blaise has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Eric also has a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto, as well as a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. Finally, they have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.

Eric Blaise reports to Craig Stephenson, President & CEO. They work with Charmaine Hack - VP, Strategic Enrollment Management, Huizi Zhao - Director, Process Integration & Quality Assurance, and Justin Fisher - Director, Domestic Recruitment & Project Development.
