Kathleen Laux has extensive work experience in event management and corporate partnerships. Kathleen is currently the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Center City District, where they focus on providing unique opportunities to elevate brand visibility in Center City, Philadelphia. Prior to this role, Kathleen was the Event Sales Manager for the same organization.

Before joining the Center City District, Kathleen served as the Manager of Event Logistics for the organization from 2016 to 2019. Kathleen was responsible for planning and executing logistics for various events in Center City parks, including staff management, event schedules, and communication with local government agencies and vendors.

Kathleen has also worked as the Special Events Director and the Director of Operations for The International Culinary Center, where they sold and produced private rentals and culinary events. Kathleen held a similar role as the Director of Private Events at Astor Center, Inc., where they marketed and managed various onsite private rental events.

Additionally, Kathleen has experience in fundraising and government affairs. Kathleen worked as the Finance Director for the Washington State Republican Party, where they managed their major donor program and organized fundraising events. Kathleen also served as a Legislative Aide/Director for the New York State Assembly, where they conducted research and helped create plans for new bill proposals.

Kathleen Laux earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University at Albany, SUNY, graduating in the year 2000. Additionally, they obtained a certification in NYC Food Handler's Certificate from the New York City Department of Health in the year 2009.
