Yoné Coore is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3/4 Humanities Teacher at Center City Public Charter Schools since August 2021. Previously, Yoné worked at District of Columbia Public Schools from August 2017 to August 2021, where roles included Cleveland Elementary Teacher and Stanton Elementary Teacher, focusing on innovative teaching methods and family engagement strategies to enhance student learning and development. Yoné's experience also includes positions as an English Language Arts Teacher and Content Lead at MARY MCLEOD BETHUNE DAY ACADEMY PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL, Teacher Leader with Leading Educators, and 1st Grade Lead Teacher at Achievement Prep Public Charter School Network. Yoné holds a Master’s in Education, Special Education from Moreland University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Buffalo State University.
