Rachel Brandenburg currently serves as the Washington Managing Director and Senior Fellow at the Israel Policy Forum and holds the position of Adjunct Senior Fellow in the Middle East Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). With a robust background in defense and foreign policy, Rachel has previously worked as a Senior Advisor at Allied Advisors and as Vice President at The Cohen Group. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin at the U.S. House of Representatives and holding various significant roles at the Pentagon, including Director of both the Levant and Iraq Teams. Rachel's earlier career involved policy analysis and programming at the United States Institute of Peace and the U.S. Department of State. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Foreign Policy and International Security from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tufts University, complemented by a Fulbright Scholarship in Arabic at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
