Asrar Ashraf

Asrar Ashraf, Ph.D has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Design Engineer at B&Z Technologies, where they were involved in designing engineering solutions. Asrar then joined Communication Enabling Technologies (Avaz Networks) in 2000 as a Design Engineer, focusing on the development of VoIP and trunk telephony signaling protocol stacks.

In 2003, Dr. Ashraf moved to the Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE) and Iqra University as a Visiting Faculty Member, where they contributed their expertise in teaching. From 2003 to 2010, they worked as a Member of Technical Staff at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering, playing a crucial role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions across various application domains.

In 2010, Dr. Ashraf took on the role of Senior Member of Technical Staff at the same organization, leading the research, development, and deployment of a deep packet inspection and packet monitoring platform. This platform was used for enterprise-grade cyber security, network monitoring, content filtering, and compliance monitoring products.

In 2017, Dr. Ashraf became the Director Technical at ShifaCARE Private Limited, where they provided technical expertise and guidance. Additionally, they held the position of Director Enterprise Software Development and Principal Engineer at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering, where they led both the business and technical aspects of projects. Asrar managed the development and implementation of a portfolio of cutting-edge solutions across various domains, including healthcare management, decision-aiding and business intelligence, artificial intelligence-based forecasting, ERP solutions, and social media platform sentiment analysis.

Throughout their career, Dr. Asrar Ashraf has showcased their expertise in software development, project management, and technical leadership, contributing to the success of prestigious private and public sector organizations and enterprises.

Asrar Ashraf, Ph.D has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. Asrar also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from the same university and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as Corporate Strategy from the University of London, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevSecOps from John Hopkins University, and many more.
