Josephine Yam, JD, LLM, MA in AI Ethics, serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Skills4Good AI since 2016, where expertise in privacy and AI law is applied alongside a commitment to ethical AI practices. In addition to leading Skills4Good AI, Josephine is a member of the Standards Council of Canada Mirror Committee on ISO/IEC 42 and an AI Policy Expert at the Center for AI and Digital Policy. Previous roles include CEO and Executive Director at the Environmental Law Centre and Senior Legal Counsel for the Government of Alberta. Early career experience includes corporate law at Baker McKenzie. Josephine's extensive educational background includes a Doctor of Law from Ateneo de Manila University and advanced degrees focusing on AI ethics, natural resources, and environmental law from prestigious institutions.
