Rebecca Pred-Sosa

Rebecca Pred-Sosa is an experienced language testing and development professional currently serving as Test Development Manager and Language Testing Specialist at the Center for Applied Linguistics since June 2019. Previous roles include research assistant at the same organization from 2015 to 2017, and a student at Teachers College, Columbia University from 2017 to 2019. Initial professional experience includes customer service coordinator at the Capital Area Food Bank of DC and volunteer coordinator at Travelers Aid International, where responsibilities included managing volunteers and administrative tasks. Rebecca began their career as an educator and caregiver at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos™, focusing on the wellbeing and development of at-risk youth. Education includes a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Grinnell College.
