Ruth McMullen

Ruth McMullen, M.Ed, is a seasoned professional in the field of multilingual education, currently serving as a Professional Development Consultant with the Center for Applied Linguistics and as the Owner of TCB Consultants, LLC. With extensive experience in empowering educators and families, Ruth has designed transformative training programs and resources aimed at enhancing equity and literacy for Multilingual Learners (MLs). Additionally, Ruth's roles have included instructing parents on digital tools at Denver Public Schools, teaching workplace English at McDonald’s and L'Oréal USA, and providing strategic oversight for ML programs at Ashtabula Area City Schools. Ruth's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction ESOL from Concordia Portland and specialized endorsements in language acquisition and ESL from Dominican University of California.
