Elizabeth (Lisa) Krusemark PhD is an accomplished industry analyst at the Center for Automotive Research since September 2023. In addition, Elizabeth serves as an affiliate faculty member in psychology and neuroscience and has held the position of visiting assistant professor at Millsaps College since August 2016. A research collaborator at the University of Helsinki from February 2019 to January 2024, Elizabeth previously worked as a research project coordinator and postdoctoral researcher at The MIND Research Network from August 2014 to August 2016. Prior experiences include roles as a postdoctoral research associate and trainee at the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2009 and 2014, and as a graduate student at the University of Georgia from 2004 to 2009, where Elizabeth earned a Ph.D. in psychology, alongside a master’s and bachelor’s degree in psychology and a separate bachelor’s degree in social work.

CAR, a nonprofit organization, is focused on a wide variety of important trends and changes related to the automobile industry and society at the international, federal, state and locallevels. CAR's automotive industry research is performed by distinct groups and programs.
