Karuna Jaggar is an accomplished leader in climate and social justice with a diverse background in advocacy and organizational management. Currently serving as Climate Campaign Director at the Center for Biological Diversity and California Political Director at the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund, Karuna Jaggar engages in strategic public-pressure campaigns to advance climate and energy justice while protecting public health and the environment. Previous roles include Executive Director at Breast Cancer Action, where efforts focused on health justice, and leadership positions at organizations such as Women's Initiative for Self Employment and Seed The Vote. Karuna Jaggar also has extensive consulting experience and has contributed to policy-making initiatives through participation in organizations like the California Breast Cancer Research Program and the Women's Foundation of California.
