John Seabrook

John Seabrook is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community support and maintenance roles. Currently serving as a Residential Aide at Housing Works since November 2016, John focuses on maintaining building integrity and providing light maintenance. In addition, John works as an Addiction Counselor at the Center for Community Alternatives, conducting intake assessments, facilitating group sessions, and preparing monthly progress reports for mandated agencies. Previously, John held the position of Community Improvement Specialist at The Doe Fund, Inc., contributing to the beautification of the Fulton Mall District. Earlier experience includes serving as a Field Supervisor at DYCD, where John monitored summer job programs for youth. John Seabrook holds 350 hours of CASAC T Training and Recovery Coach and Peer Advocate Training from The Resource Training Center, along with 30 credits in Human Services from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, and aspires to obtain a Master of Social Work degree.
