Jamal Magby is an experienced professional with a focus on partnerships and advocacy in the technology policy sector. Currently serving as Partnerships Manager at the Center for Democracy & Technology since July 2019, Jamal Magby manages a bipartisan Advisory Council, revitalizes the nonresident academic Fellows program, and coordinates multistakeholder working groups to address emerging tech policy issues. Previous roles include Outreach Coordinator at the American Hotel and Lodging Association and Associate, Partnerships at the Partnership for a Healthier America, where Jamal managed partner relations and event logistics. Jamal Magby possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Norfolk State University and has also worked in marketing and visual merchandising.
