Maddy Dwyer is a Policy Analyst focused on Equity in Civic Technology at the Center for Democracy & Technology since June 2023, where research and advocacy efforts are directed toward the responsible and equitable use of data and technology by public agencies and civic institutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, supporting strategic communications for broadband and civil legal projects, and as a Communications & Development Intern at the Center for Democracy & Technology, where contributions included drafting communications and managing media relations. Additional roles include internships in communications at the Personal Care Products Council, Moulton Niguel Water District, and Stanford Children's Health. Maddy Dwyer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Master of Arts in Media and Strategic Communication from The George Washington University.
