April Thompson

April Thompson currently serves as the Assistant Director for Special Projects at the Center for Deployment Psychology, a role held since March 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Program Analyst for the United States Department of Defense from March 2021 to March 2022, and as a Military Behavioral Health Social Worker at the Center for Deployment Psychology from October 2015 to February 2021. April also has a background as a Clinical Care Coordinator at Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. and has held clinical counseling positions in both the US Navy and the US Army Health Clinic Schofield Barracks. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Clinical Social Work Candidate and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
