William Brim

William Brim has extensive work experience in the fields of psychology and leadership. William began their career as a Case Manager at Nova Southeastern University in 1990. In 1997, they joined the United States Air Force as a Psychologist and served in that capacity until 2007. In 2007, Brim became the Deputy Director of the Center for Deployment Psychology, where they held various roles including Director and Executive Director. William continues to make significant contributions to the field, holding leadership positions within the organization.

William Brim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1985 to 1988. Subsequently, they pursued a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University from 1993 to 1997.

Center for Deployment Psychology

The Center for Deployment Psychology's mission is to prepare health care professionals to better meet the deployment-related emotional and psychological needs of military personnel and their families. More than two million service members have deployed during the conflicts overseas, including many who have deployed multiple times. To meet its mission, the Center -- which is headquartered at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences -- trains health care professionals through live presentations, online learning resources, ongoing consultation and state-of-the-art education, coordinating activities across a nationwide network of training sites at 11 military medical centers.
