Margo Scurry is an experienced professional with a diverse background in digital literacy and technology training, currently serving as the Resident Co-Chair for the Digital Literacy and Skilling Workstream at The Center for Digital Equity since March 2023. Scurry has over a decade of experience in various educational and consultancy roles, including working as a Zoom Digital Producer and Digital Literacy Specialist at Fully Equipped 4 Life Training Solutions, where efforts focus on improving digital literacy among underserved communities. Past positions include facilitating community workshops for the City of Charlotte, serving as a Digital Inclusion Fellow at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, and coordinating technology programs at Jacob's Ladder Job Center, Inc. Scurry's early career involved project management and technology coordination roles at organizations such as First Union Bank and NationsBank. Margo Scurry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Economics and Computer Science from Norfolk State University.

The Center for Digital Equity at Queens University of Charlotte is the backbone organization for a collective impact strategy focused on making Mecklenburg County the most digitally equitable community in America. Residents and public and private sector partners convene to co-create solutions focused on achieving this mission.
