Carolyn Dion Rhia

Carolyn Dion RHIA has over 30 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Carolyn is currently serving as the Director of Business Operations at the Center for Disability Services since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Area Manager, Northeast at MRO from December 2022 to April 2023. Carolyn also held the position of Sr. Manager of Health Information Management Operations at Albany Medical Center from January 2013 to September 2022. Before that, they were the Director of Health Information Management & Patient Registration at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital from August 2011 to January 2013. Additionally, Carolyn worked as the Owner of NPH Coding Solutions from July 2007 to August 2011. Carolyn also gained valuable experience as the Assistant Director of Health Information Services at Seton Health System - St. Mary's Hospital/Leonard Hospital from December 1991 to July 2007, and as a Data Quality Specialist at Albany Medical Center from June 1988 to December 1991. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in staff management, budget control, recruitment, training, compliance, and coding.

Carolyn Dion RHIA obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration/Administrator from Ithaca College between 1984 and 1988. Carolyn has also acquired the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification from the American Health Information Management Association.
