Cindy Hu

Cindy Hu is an experienced education program manager with a strong background in environmental science and education. Currently serving at the Center for Ecoliteracy since July 2023, Cindy advances change in TK–12 education and school food systems, focusing on resource creation and advocacy. Previously, Cindy held the position of Community and Youth Education Manager at Watershed Management Group from September 2020 to July 2023, where the development of sustainable community solutions was emphasized. Other notable roles include Curriculum Specialist at the University of Arizona’s Biosphere 2, Student Teacher at University High School, and Environmental and Health Education Specialist with the Peace Corps. Additionally, Cindy has significant experience in various education roles, including positions at Guadalupe River Park & Gardens and WattzOn, with a robust academic foundation comprising a Master of Education in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from San José State University.
