Deborah James

Deborah James is an experienced professional in international policy, currently serving as the Director of International Programs at the Center for Economic and Policy Research since July 2007. Prior to this role, Deborah held the position of Deputy Director of Policy & Operations at Global Trade Watch under Public Citizen from January 2006 to June 2007, and served as the Global Economy Director at Global Exchange from November 1993 to January 2006. Additionally, Deborah was the Executive Director of the Venezuela Information Office for a brief period in 2004. Deborah James earned a Master of International Policy and Practice from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Psychology with Honors from UC San Diego.
